True Story: How I Was Invited To Be A Kartra Top Expert.
I remember it like it was yesterday, partially because it was May of 2020 and those days are forever engrained in our minds and hearts.
I had been running Pineapple Relations since 2016, and balancing my business with a full time - high end restaurant job in South Florida that included training and developing our new hires and re-educating the team on food and beverage education. I had a full plate.
Kartra had been introduced to me by a client who purchased it when it was in beta launch and she told me to “figure it out”, and I did. Through endless trial and error, YouTube University and Google College, I was figuring it out. I even landed a couple one off clients who needed a little help along the way.
I was an active part of the Official Facebook Group, answering questions from other uses and sharing the knowledge I had gained during my trials and own learning process.
I had always imagined that at some point my restaurant job would take a back seat, and my business would become a primary source but really didn’t have a game plan for how, or when. And I was okay with that.
Cue March of 2020 when the world did have a plan. Restaurants closed. For the first time, I was able to fully focus on my business, with no distractions.
While the “real world” closed, the “online business world” bloomed, and all of a sudden, it seemed as if everyone needed to move their in-person businesses online - and I had already been immersed in that world in the work I had been doing with clients in Kartra.
I got a Facebook message from the lead developer for Karta.

I thought - hey that sounds like fun. Let’s do it.
By the end of the day I had an approved, listed, Kartra Top Experts Directory.
It’s a funny thing to know the exact moment my life changed.
Since then I’ve had the pure pleasure of working with clients in SO many realms and genres.
